Support local businesses with the new Downtown Haddonfield Community E-Gift Card

Easy to purchase, easy to use, keeps dollars local

On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, the Partnership for Haddonfield (PfH)  launched their Downtown Haddonfield Community E-Gift Card to help support local merchants in the business district. The electronic-based gift card allows merchants to process the voucher  with a manual credit card entry. E-Gift Cards can be purchased at yiftee.com.

Having partnered with Yiftee, an eGift Card service that keeps local dollars local with simple  Community eGift Cards, PfH has streamlined the community gift card process. Now, customers  can purchase e-Gift Cards and have them sent directly to the recipient via email/ text. The  recipient can then redeem the Mastercard® backed electronic gift card at any participating  location. The merchants then process the e-gift card by manually inputting the card number and  the charge is available to the merchant the very same day.

“We’ve taken Downtown Haddonfield’s greatest gift and made it better,” said PfH Executive  Director Michael Marciante. “Now, Haddonfield residents and visitors can give their friends and  families the perfect gift with the click of a button. It’s a great way to keep dollars local and to  support the business community.” E-Gift Cards can be sent via email and text message, with  the option of sending them on a specific date.

Until now, the PfH offered paper town-wide gift cards that could later be redeemed by  businesses.

“We realized that forgoing any amount of money for any amount of time was a  burden on our business community;” Marciante noted. “So much that some merchants didn’t  accept the paper gift cards. Now, businesses see the gift card amount redeemed on the same day. Any business in Haddonfield, NJ that accepts credit cards can join the new program.”

While the gift card is available on the recipient’s phone or other electronic devices, the gift card  can be printed and redeemed in the same manner.

“It’s going to require some ‘getting used to’  on everyone’s part, but the e-gift card can be printed by anyone who isn’t computer-savvy,” said Marciante. “We only ask that they check their balance before visiting Downtown Haddonfield merchants at https://app.yiftee.com/gift-card/haddonfield–nj-haddonfield.”

Downtown Haddonfield is a charming, tree-lined business district in the heart of South Jersey’s  densely populated affluent area.
