County issues a Code Blue warning

Camden County has issued a “Code Blue” severe weather alert for Camden County tonight, March 2, through tomorrow, March 3, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Persons seeking warming center locations should contact their local municipality. Temperatures are going to drop to the low 20’s tonight, according to the National Weather Advisory, with biting winds as well.

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally funded program that assists qualified households pay for heating costs. Applications are accepted from November 1 through April 30. LIHEAP is administered by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs 1–800–510–3102 (LIHEAP).
