As part of “Mom’s the Word,” many of Haddonfield’s distinct shops, boutiques and restaurants will celebrate Mother’s Day by offering unique in-store events and specials. Shoppers will receive a 10 percent discount on all Haddonfield gift certificates purchased Sunday, May 1 through Sunday, May 8 during the Mom’s the Word celebration. In addition to shopping in Haddonfield’s unique shops and boutiques and sharing a quality meal with Mom at one of Haddonfield’s many eateries, visitors to Haddonfield during “Mom’s the Word” will also enjoy free street entertainment on Friday, May 6, part of Haddonfield’s May First Friday Celebration, as well as on Saturday, May 7.
Musical entertainment for Friday, May 6 includes Albert Sarnese performing at the Happy Hippo, located at 201 Kings Highway East; She Hates Me performing at Sundance, located at 129 Kings Highway East; DJ Henry performing at Georgie Girl, located at 105 Kings Highway East; Class Act performing at Sam S. Yampell Jewelers, located at 104 Kings Highway East; and Jacob Smith performing at the The Shops at 116, located at 116 Kings Highway East.
Other entertainment taking place on Friday, May 6, includes a strolling stilt walker and, a presentation from the Haddonfield Child Care Center at Rising Sun Lodge №15, located at 16 Kings Highway East; and a performance of “Three’s A Crowd” by the Haddonfield Memorial High School Drama Club at Kings Court.
On Saturday, May 7, enjoy the Haddonfield Garden Club’s Annual Herb & Perennial Sale, taking place at Kings Court from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
