Gloucester Township Resident seeks help in continuing luminary tradition

Volunteers can come to Harwan Park around 3 p.m. or earlier to help fold the brown bags, put sand in and place bags on the curb.

On Dec. 24, Gloucester Township Resident Keith Gibbons seeks to continue the Christmas Eve luminaria tradition of lighting luminaries on Christmas Eve, and invites the community to help set them up along South Black Horse Pike from the Rite Aid to Meadow’s Diner. While he has some of the supplies, supplies that are still needed include:

  • Sand
  • Wheelbarrow
  • Poster board and signs made

Volunteers can come to Harwan Park around 3 p.m. or earlier to help folding the brown bags, putting sand in, place bags on the curb and will be needed after Christmas to help clean up.
