Haddonfield varsity tennis had a great showing in the recent Camden County Tennis Championships, reported Head Coach Jeffrey Holman.
Mike Alberto defeated his fellow Haddonfield teammate Tommy Dodson, 6–0, 6–1 in the singles semifinals.
Max Oberholtzer of Haddonfield defeated Prashant Ramesh of Eastern Regional High School, 6–1, 6–2, setting up an all Haddonfield singles final. Oberholtzer defeated Alberto 10–5 in the finals to win the Camden County singles championship title.
Dodson defeated Ramesh, 6–1, 2–6, 11–9, to capture third place.
In the doubles tournament, Luke Grabiak and Isaac Anderson of Haddonfield defeated Alex Kim and Xiaomao Ding of Eastern Regional High School, 6–0, 6–0, in the semifinal round.
Matt Godlewski and Sean Campbell of Haddonfield defeated Brady Akman and Eric Zhao of Eastern Regional High School, 6–2, 6–0, to set up another all Haddonfield finals.
Grabiak and Anderson defeated Godlewski and Campbell, 6–4, 7–6 (7–4), to win the doubles final.
In the “B” doubles semifinals, Max Prescott and PK Schlitt of Haddonfield defeated Joey Moramarco and Charlie Carr of Haddonfield, 6–1, 6–1.
Michael Harrer and Gavin Reed of Haddonfield defeated Dillon Kadakia and Brandon Gottlob of Eastern Regional High School, 6–3, 6–3.
In the third place match, Moramarco and Carr defeated Kadakia and Gottlob, 6–3, 6–2.
The doubles “B” final will be held on Thursday, April 19.
