Last week was more of a discussion about privacy. This is an interesting topic because privacy is something we all want and need. When a residential district is changed by allowing a business in, it does change some of the privacy that homeowners wanted when we purchased homes where we wanted to live.
People should have the right to know about changes to provide safe decisions for family members.
I do agree that substance addiction is an illness. With the acceptance of recreational drugs, it will even become more widespread. With talk about plans for marijuana businesses, it seems like there is money to be made by selling something addicting. My opinion is that it is a destructive thing to do.
