Candlelight shopping begins next Friday in the borough

Celebrate the holiday season in Haddonfield with a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for the entire family — Haddonfield’s Candlelight Shopping, taking place every Friday evening from Nov. 23 — Dec. 21.

Tree Lighting and Candlelight Shopping Kick-off: Friday, Nov. 23 at 6:15 p.m.

The kick-off to the Holiday Season and Candlelight Shopping will feature a tree lighting ceremony that will take place at The Borough Holiday Tree at Library Point at 6:15 p.m., followed by a parade with Santa to Kings Court. Santa will then be available for meet and greets in the Kings Court. Musical performances by Pick Up Band, MP4, and Shades of Harmony will also be taking place during the evening.

Haddonfield’s Candlelight Shopping on Friday nights features unique gift ideas and exciting in-store holiday events; as well horse-drawn carriage rides, live holiday entertainment throughout the town and visits from Santa Claus, in the Kings Court Gazebo from 6–9 p.m. Haddonfield’s beautiful downtown be decorated throughout the month of December with sparkling white lights and glowing trees and the streets of Haddonfield will be lined with luminaries on Friday nights during Candlelight Shopping — providing holiday warmth and a festive atmosphere for shoppers.

Candlelight Shopping Entertainment Lineup:

Friday, Nov. 30, MP4, Shade of Harmony, The Essential Brass Ensemble and Woody, the Holiday Stilt Walker will perform throughout the town.

Friday, Dec. 7, MP4, The Essential Brass Ensemble and Shades of Harmony will perform.

Live nativity at 7 & 7:30 p.m. at the Baptist Church, 124 Kings Highway East.

Friday, Dec. 14, Candlelight Shopping will welcome musical performances by MP4, Pick Up Band, Shades of Harmony, the Cherry Hill East Mimes, Belles and Madrigals and Woody the Stilt Walker.

Friday, Dec. 21, will be the last Friday of Candlelight Shopping and will include musical performances by Jersey Sound Chorus of the Sweet Adelines International, The Essential Brass Ensemble and Shades of Harmony.

Haddonfield House Tour: Thursday, Dec. 13
Another Holiday event in Downtown Haddonfield is the Haddonfield Holiday House Tour on Thursday, December 13, which features beautifully decorated houses. This event will take place from 10 a.m. — 4 p.m. and again from 5–9 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Information Center.

Downtown Haddonfield Gift Certificates:
Downtown Haddonfield is also offering town-wide gift certificates at a discounted rate of 10% off on Small Business Saturday, November 24. Gift certificates can be purchased at the Haddonfield Information Center, located at 2 Kings Court, or online between 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. atwww.ShopHaddonfieldNJ.com and can be used at stores and restaurants throughout Haddonfield. Gift Certificates will also be discounted Wednesday, December 5 through Saturday, December 22. Discounted Gift Certificates can be bought online during these specified days or in person at the Information Center during regular hours, Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. and every Friday during Candlelight Shopping until 9 p.m.
