New Year’s Eve festivities feature two headliners this year, both of which are new for the season. The evening of entertainment will kick off with “The Ultimate Michael Experience” starring Joby Rogers and his four dancers, providing a special tribute to the late pop music icon Michael Jackson that will captivate you right down to the last Moonwalk. Then, the award-winning group The Unexpected Boys will pay a tribute to Frankie Valli, The Four Seasons, and Jersey Boys by bringing Broadway to Haddonfield.

Other tributes include Jerry Garcia’s Art Show and “Steal Your Face” Grateful Dead Tribute Band, which combine visual and musical art taken from The Grateful Dead’s palette of music.

Along with the new entertainers will be performers that are back by popular demand, including one of the top rated pan-Celtic groups, Iona, award winning magician Brian Richards, and singer-songwriter Christopher Westfall.

Music enthusiasts can dance along with performances that offer a wide range of musical genres, from the classical music of Ben Beirs Classical Guitar and Violanti Flute Quartet, to the contemporary beats of the tribute bands.

For those who have the sixth sense — humor, that is — other features include interactive improv comedy by Improv 4 Kids and Eight is Never Enough that will ring in the new year with the sound of laughter.

The evening will combine all of the greatest arts that life has to offer — music, crafts, dance, and laughter into an event that the whole community can enjoy.

In all, more than 40 different performances will take place in 20 venues in Haddonfield from 6 pm to midnight on New Year’s Eve including a family countdown with fireworks at the Town Clock at 9 p.m.

First Night Haddonfield is designed to entertain every member of your family, from young to old in an alcohol-free celebration of the arts.

First Night buttons are now being sold for $15 only.
