COUNTY: clerk’s system unavailable due to upgrades

From Aug. 28–29, the Camden County Clerk’s computer system will be unavailable due to a technology upgrade.

The software has reached the end of its useful existence and will be replaced during this period of time.

As such, only the paper books will be available for public consumption until after the holiday weekend.

Tomorrow’s upgrade will alleviate many of the challenges associated with the current software for residents and real estate professionals.

To help accommodate the searching of records, the county clerk’s office will be offering extended hours after this down time.

In addition, this software upgrade will affect the ability to process passport applications, business trade name, notary oath and other functions that need to be logged into the system.

This means that services provided by the office in the county store inside the Voorhees Town Center will not be available until Tuesday, Sept. 3.
