County records 54 new COVID cases

Daily numbers fall as county continues to make vaccinations rise.

The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 54 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Camden County. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 48,670 in Camden County today and 1,187 total fatalities.

“Nearly 205,000 adults in Camden County have been fully vaccinated at this time, an incredible feat considering the state of our rollout efforts just a few short months ago,” said County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr.

“After months of limited supply, we are finally in a position to provide same day vaccinations, with no appointment, to those who want them. We can put this pandemic behind us if people continue to get vaccinated.”

Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.

To date, 433,946 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Camden County. There are 247,145 people with at least one vaccine dose, and 204,996 people who are fully vaccinated.
