From 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Be the Match is hosting “Swab to Save a Life” on May 22 at the Berlin Borough Hall. It is a contactless drive through event where potential bone marrow donors will register and swab their cheeks from their vehicle. From there, doctors search for patient matches, like Berlin resident Chrissie Brown Torres who was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer last year.
