Bancroft employee honored with Philadlphia 76ers award for heroes in the community

At the April 14 Philadelphia 76ers basketball game against the Boston Celtics, Burlington County resident and Bancroft of Haddonfield employee, Eric Eberman, will be honored with the Sixers “Heroes Among Us” award.

The award is given to people in the greater Philadelphia area who have made exceptional and overwhelming contributions to better the lives of children in the community.

Eberman is the Executive Director of Pediatric and Adolescent Residential Services at Bancroft. He oversees the Lindens Behavioral Stabilization Program, which is an innovative residential program that helps children and adolescents with autism, as well as other intellectual and developmental disabilities, overcome severe behavioral challenges.

Under Eric’s leadership, more than 350 children have benefited from the Lindens program, 98 percent of whom are discharged to more independent settings, most within a year.
