The Berlin Lion’s Club is accepting shoe donations through April 9th. They are accepting sandals, slippers, boots, flip flops-all kinds of shoes, but no socks. The shoes will eventually be sent to Lion Clubs in impoverished areas overseas and in North America where the need is great.
Collection boxes are now available at: Allegria (formerly The Fountains); The Palace Diner; Cutting Times; and in the parking lot entry way to the Berlin Municipal Building.

The Berlin Lion’s Club is dedicated to supporting those who are blind and poorly sighted. They hold fundraising events throughout the year toward that purpose, as well as supporting other local worthy causes. The organization meets monthly on the first Tuesday of the month, and are currently accepting new members.
