Celebrate summer with Downtown Haddonfield’s biggest shopping weekend of the season during Townwide Sidewalk Sale, Thursday, August 7 through Sunday, August 10; coinciding with Haddonfield’s August 7 First Thursday celebration.
The Townwide Sidewalk Sale has been extended to four fun-filled days of savings this year. The event will feature many of Haddonfield’s shops and boutiques setting up along the sidewalks of Downtown Haddonfield for summertime shopping in the sun. Shops on Kings Court and along Kings Highway, Ellis, Mechanic and Tanner Streets, Haddy Lane and North and South Haddon Avenue will offer a variety of summer merchandise as well as fall collection previews.
Sidewalk Sale hours are 10 a.m. — 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 7; 10 a.m. — 7 p.m. on Friday, August 8; 10 a.m. — 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 9; and 12–5 p.m. Sunday, August 10.
The Townwide Sidewalk Sale kicks off in a big way on Thursday August 7 with First Thursday also taking place this day from 5–8 p.m., appropriately themed ‘Sidewalk Sale.’ First Thursday extends the fun and entertainment of the Sidewalk Sale event into the evening with an exceptional mix of music, on-street artists, extraordinary dining and retail specials.
Musical entertainment for August’s First Thursday performing 5–8 p.m. includes DJ, Frank Staff, Jazz Quintet, Top Cats and Quartet 33. Artists Row will be held on Tanner Street.
The Downtown will also be offering Customer Appreciation Rewards exclusively during August’s First Thursday. This promotion allows all receipts for purchases made between 5 and 8 p.m. on First Thursday, August 7, to receive a 10 percent rebate on the total amount of money spent. The rebate is to be given in the form of a Haddonfield Gift Certificate, and all receipts must be redeemed within one week of the event (by August 14 for August First Thursday). The rebate is not to exceed $50 per person.
