On Saturday, Nov. 15 the Haddonfield Crew Club will hold its 4th Annual Haddonfield Crew Ergathon from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Kings Court in Haddonfield. “Ergs” are stationary rowing machines that measure the time, power and meters each athlete pulls. This event is the club’s major fundraising activity of the year. With last year’s donations, the team was able to purchase a Vespoli V1 8+ racing shell.
The Haddonfield Crew Club has grown exponentially in recent years, with 96 rowers participating on the team, including 35 who joined for the first time this year. They are joining a team that experienced unprecedented success last year, taking home three gold medals in the Garden State Championship, gold at the Philadelphia City Championships and sending nine boats to nationals.
So come down to Kings Court on Nov. 15, cheer the team on, learn about the exciting sport of rowing and contribute to a worthy cause!
