The monthly Haddon Fortnightly Business Meeting will be held on Friday, Nov. 20 at the Haddon Fortnightly Clubhouse, the corner of Kings Highway and Grove Street, at 1 p.m. After the business meeting, Marge Evers, President of NAMI Camden County Inc. will discuss what NAMI New Jersey is all about and what services it provides locally and state-wide. NAMI NJ is the state affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, a private non-profit organization whose purpose is to help improve the lives of persons and families dealing with mental illness. NAMI NJ is the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs Special State Project for the years 2014–2016; whereby all the Federation’s women’s clubs in New Jersey concentrate their involvement in different projects and fundraisers to support the mission of this important organization over a 2-year time period. If you have a loved-one who could benefit from learning about the support services provided by this organization, or are just interested in learning more about NAMI, please join us for this informative talk. The public is invited to attend this free discussion. Light refreshments will be served.
