January 2016 will mark the 20th anniversary of Haddonfield’s Oriental Pearl Restaurant, under the ownership of George Zhao and his wife Guiqin Li. To express their appreciation for the support of the Haddonfield community during the past 20 years Zhao and his wife would like to donate their gross sales ‪on Wednesday, Jan. 6 and ‪Thursday, Jan. 7 to the five public schools and two private elementary schools in Haddonfield, to purchase books and other educational materials for their libraries.
“We know it is not much,” Zhao said, “but it is our way of showing our gratitude for your patronage.
