The Camden County Pet Food Pantry, supported by the Animal Alliance of Camden County, has been a lifeline for pet owners in financial difficulties since its launch in April 2015.
The program aims to keep families together with their beloved pets and prevent animals from being sent to local shelters by providing pet food assistance.
To date, the initiative has delivered an impressive 7,500 pounds of cat food and 22,600 pounds of dog food, helping over 5,600 pets.
Driven by the Alliance’s mission to reduce pet surrenders caused by financial difficulties, the program offers struggling families a chance to keep their beloved companions at home.
Pet Food Pantry will open three times in December to continue the service.
Pet owners in need can visit the pantry on:
- Saturday, December 7th, from 11 AM to 1 PM – @Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center
- Saturday, December 14th, from 10 AM to 2 PM – @Voorhees Animal Orphanage
- Saturday, December 21st, from 11 AM to 1 PM – @Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center
Commendably, the Camden County Pet Food Pantry is helping pets and their families stay together by providing support when times get tough.

Please note:
Food and supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The pantry’s food packages are sourced directly from suppliers and remain unaltered.
Recipients are encouraged to inspect the food before feeding it to their pets, as the orphanages cannot guarantee the quality of individual products.
