Deptford firefighters are shown with two tiny kittens they helped rescue from a storm drain at a Delsea Drive parking lot on July 12. Firefighters in Squad 921 were dispatched to the area and lifted two drain grates to find the animals’ position in the middle of the pipe, then used a hose line to lure them out of an opening. Once rescued, they were handed to officer Hailey McGuire.
