Lake Tract Elementary School fifth graders took in a K-9 demonstration on June 13 that featured police dogs from area towns demonstrating obedience training; locating a missing person from their scent; and searching for explosives and narcotics, among other duties. The event was set up by Deptford police Cpl. Bill Rosati and the school’s SRO (School Resource Officer) Richard Rodgers, and included nine K-9s and their handlers.
