Special to The Sun
Burlington County’s free concert series is returning this summer. Among the performers scheduled is The Nerds, a popular cover band playing R&B, funk, dance, pop, punk and new wave hits since 1985.

Tribute and cover bands from all ages and genres will be featured during this year’s Burlington County Summer Concert Series returning to the Burlington County Amphitheater most weekends beginning in late June through August.

Other performers in the concert lineup include renown Jersey cover band, The Nerds; Huey Lewis and the News tribute group, Back in Time; Neil Diamond tribute band, Real Diamond; and Nine Deez Nite, a collection of musicians performing 90s era hits from the likes of Pearl Jam, N’Sync, Nirvana, Snoop Dog and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The concert series kicks off on Friday, June 28, with Step by Step, a doo-wop band celebrating the music of 50s’ and 60s’ legend Johnny Maestro.

All concerts are held at the Burlington County Amphitheater in Westampton. Admission is free.
