Coehlo will also attempt to solve a mystery: Where and when was the Declaration fo Independence read in public for the first time? What does the one surviving proof copy of printer John Dunlap’s version of it reveal?

There will be a book signing after the lecture, which is free to the public. Seating is limited.

The 4th of July wil feature a public reading of the Declaration of Independence on the steps of the tavern. Also free, the event will begin just prior to the Haddonfield parade and also include reenactors of the militia that helped to defend the nation. The museum will be open after the parade that day until 1 p.m.
