Main Street has announced a new event, Celebration on Main, set to take place on Saturday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Mullica Hill.
The street will be transformed into a hub of activity with classic cars, a diverse range of food and beverages and family-friendly attractions. To accommodate that, Main Street will be closed from Old Mill to Woodstown Road, creating a pedestrian-friendly walk for visitors.
Classic car enthusiasts will find models displayed along Main Street. For shopping enthusiasts, its boutiques will feature specials and the Food Garden, behind OKKA at 33 S. Main St., will feature food truck vendors from Bistro Society, Frios Fruit Pops, Hands Down BBQ, Anthony the Weenie Genie and DeRose’s Mobile Kitchen.
The celebration will also feature items from Swedesboro Brewing Company, The Big Swig and Kennedy Cellars at The Tasting Room. Activities will include a bounce house and creative face painting for kids and music from Double G.
“This event is a fantastic opportunity for families and friends to come together, enjoy our historic Main Street, and experience the vibrant culture of Harrison Township,” said Mayor Louis Manzo
