Not All Wounds are Visible art contest for all grades

In advance of Camden County’s Mental Health Awareness Walk on Saturday, May 18, young people are encouraged to participate in the Not All Wounds are Visible art contest, an opportunity to express through various mediums their thoughts, emotions and experiences related to mental health.

The poster contest is open to all grades in the county, and each participant must be enrolled as a student at a county public, private or parochial high school. High-school students who are home schooled and reside in the state are also eligible.

Students should work individually on posters no larger than 24 by 36 inches. The contest is limited to one entry per person, and a parent or teacher must sponsor and supervise the entrant. Competition categories are elementary, middle and high school.

Submissions are due by Friday, May 10 and should be original student art only, without any offensive or illegal content. The artwork should depict the theme, Not All Wounds Are Visible.

A winner will be chosen in each category by a panel of judges and announced at the mental-health walk. Each will receive a certificate of completion and countywide recognition.
