Straight… to Treatment

Those who are struggling with substance abuse and have been thinking about seeking help can do so at the Delran Township Police Department on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Distracted Driving

Delran Township Police Department is participating in the Distracted Driving Crackdown Campaign for the month of April. Remember to keep your eyes up, phones down! Help keep our roads safe by avoiding distractions behind the wheel.

Wednesday, April 24

During National Volunteer Month in April, the American Red Cross asks donors to help protect the blood supply by making and keeping blood or platelet donation appointments in the weeks ahead. Donors of all blood types – especially type O blood donors and those giving platelets – are needed now to keep the blood supply strong enough to support critical patient care this spring.

April 24 – 1:30-6:30 p.m., Delran Township Building, 900 Chester Avenue.

Friday to Sunday, April 26-28

Delran Intermediate School presents Disney Frozen Kids at the Performing Arts Center in Delran High School, 50 Hartford Road. Showtimes are 7 p.m. on April 26-27 and 2 p.m. on April 28.

Saturday, April 27

The Judith Glick Buckman Fund for the Future will hold brunch with Pulitzer Prize Winning Cartoonist Signe Wilkinson from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ashley Crossing, 50 Ashley Dr. Proceeds from the event will benefit educational programs on the importance of women’s contributions to all segments of American society. Delran’s Green Team will be celebrating Arbor Day with a tree planting at Conrow Park at 10 a.m., April 27. After the planting, they will be handing out seedlings and planting three trees of honor. Delran residents who stop by the annual tree giveaway will receive one of the seedlings at no charge. (While supplies last.)

Delran Junior Marksman Club

Delran Junior Marksman Club is a community-focused organization dedicated to promoting safe and responsible firearm and archery education among youth. Its upcoming schedule for 2024 includes a variety of events designed to introduce juniors to shooting sports in a safe and supportive environment.

CMP High Power Service Rifle Matches:

  • Oct. 5

Junior Programs:

  • Air Rifle and .22 Light Rifle: Multiple dates from through May 18
  • Archery: Multiple dates from June 1-29
  • Shotgun: Multiple dates from Oct. 5-26
  • Service Rifle: To be announced.

Delran Green Team

Delran Green Team meets the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 in the Delran Municipal Building, 900 S. Chester Ave.

Delran Seniors Club

The Delran Seniors Club is a social club open to anyone 55+ from Delran and neighboring towns. Membership is $10 annually, with monthly meetings at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Bridgeboro Road in Delran.

The meetings begin at 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month except for December due to the club’s annual Christmas Party. A complete lunch is available at every meeting for $10 at sign in. 

The club attempts to have speakers at each meeting to bring information relevant to “our lives and needs.”

Members enjoy two day trips a year supported by Delran Township, a fall trip and spring trip.

Delran Historical Society

The Delran Historical Society meets on the third Tuesday of the month in these five months, January, March, May, September and November at the Delran Township Municipal Building located at 900 Chester Ave. The meetings are held in Community Room 3 and start at 7 p.m. We frequently invite speakers to address the membership.
