The Mantua committee has partnered with Rowan University for more than a decade to bring the Jean and Ric Edelman Fossil Park and Museum project to fruition. It is now expected to open this summer.

The park and museum will likely generate $623,000 in total revenue for Mantua over a 10-year period, township officials say. That includes $203,000 for the 2019 sale of the property and $420,000 for the 10-year municipal impact fee that began in 2016.
