As chief medical officer, Dr. Sara Pagliaro will have full oversight over Samaritan’s health-care services, including care to more than 11,000 patients, clients and families.
Mount Laurel-based Samaritan has named Dr. Sara Pagliaro its chief medical officer, replacing Dr. Stephen Goldfine, who now has a part-time role as physician executive of the organization. The changes were effective on April 1.
As chief medical officer, Pagliaro assumes full oversight of the organization’s health-care services, including care to more than 11,000 patients and their families each year.
Goldfine has served as Samaritan’s chief medical officer since 2003, when he first joined the organization. For more than 20 years, he has provided oversight and care for Samaritan patients and their families, while leading the expansion of Samaritan’s health-care services from hospice to palliative medicine and primary care, among other services.
