Police urge vigilance after Harrison burglary

A recent residential burglary in Harrison Township has prompted Mantua and Wenonah police to urge vigilance in their towns.

The burglary resulted in a vehicle being stolen, according to Harrison police, who are still investigating the case with help from the department’s detective bureau.

Mantua Police Chief Darren White is urging residents to be vigilant and to keep their residences secure from theft. Thieves in the area have been targeting high-end vehicles such as Range Rovers and BMW M-Series SUVs, according to police.

Residents should be sure they’re not being followed as they travel and report any suspicious vehicles or persons in their neighborhood by calling 911, not the local police station or municipal buildings.
