Feeding food-insecure families

First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown invites residents to its Mustard Seed Cooperative Garden Work Day on Saturday, March 23.

The Mustard Seed Cooperative Garden is a community ministry that provides fresh vegetables and fruits to the Ministerium Food Pantry and the Our Lady of Good Counsel meal delivery service.

Residents will work with the garden builders to remove sod, till soil, lay down weed-prevention fabric and spread compost and woodchips. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and rain date is Saturday, April 6. To sign up, visit www.fpcmoorestown.org.
