Mayor Manzo’s message on local student’s charity

Dear Fellow Residents,

I reach out to you today seeking your support for a group of our Clearview students in their effort to raise money for an important cause. Among the many great things about our community is the stellar public education offered to our children in the Harrison Township Elementary and Clearview school systems. I recently met with Sara Chrzanowski, a junior at Clearview, who is leading the team representing Mullica Hill in this effort, which is best described by Sara herself:

“My name is Sara Chrzanowski, I am 16 years old and a junior at Clearview Regional High School. This year I am representing Mullica Hill in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Student Visionaries of the Year program. My role is to be an advocate in the fight against leukemia and lymphoma, while trying to raise as much money as possible within a seven-week span (Jan. 18 to March 9).

“I absolutely love this organization because they are not only focused on curing leukemia and lymphoma, but also how they can support patients during and after their treatment/diagnosis.

“My team, Team Smiles4Cures, specifically focuses on the patient care aspect of the program, which funds getting patients in touch with therapists, getting them to and from their treatment and helping with their daily life after diagnosis. Please consider donating to my team at tinyurl.com/sarastvoy20me24 or mailing checks made out to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to me at 903 Stockton Dr., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062. We would also greatly appreciate any business sponsorships.

“I can be contacted at sarachrz357@gmail.com with any interest. Thank you.”

Let’s show our support for Sara and Team Smiles4Cures who epitomize our Harrison Strong spirit.

Together for Harrison Township,
Louis Manzo,
Your mayor
