The Freedom Park Skatepark in Medford, which opened in 2012, will temporarily close beginning Tuesday, Feb. 20, to make minor upgrades and repairs to surface cracks and metal copings. Funding for the work – expected to take about a week -is being provided under a Local Recreation Improvement Grant from the state Department of Community Affairs.
