Students take STEAM challenge

Students in Natalie Markey’s Innovations and Design (ID) class at Pleasant Valley School in Mullica Hill will again participate in the NJ STEAM Tank Challenge.

The challenge is for state public school students in SPARK Innovation, a program that offers them the chance to invent, modify or use problem-solving skills to solve real-world issues. Three teams of students from Pleasant Valley School have qualified for the second step in the competition, the regionals.

The entries are: a Magical Wheelchair, the M.E.G., the Abdominal Thruster and the Whipkey.
