Intro to Excel: Seniors. 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to the library to learn about Microsoft Excel. Students will learn the basics of Excel, from getting familiar with the interface to using pre-made templates to setting up spreadsheets with simple functions and visual styling. Alternatives to Excel will also be covered in this class, including set up, and maintaining a personal home budget. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Young Masters: Ages 6 to 12 years. 4 to 4:45 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Participants will learn a little about an artist or art technique, then create a piece of art inspired by the lesson. This week’s class is on how to make beads. Dress for a mess. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Evesham Township Council Meeting: All residents. 7 p.m. at the Evesham Township Municipal Building. The monthly meeting of the Evesham Township Council. No registration is required.

Saturday, Jan. 27

Free rabies clinic: All residents. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Main Street Firehouse, 26 E. Main St. The township will host two free rabies vaccination clinics for 2024, the first on Saturday, Jan. 13 and the second on Saturday, Jan. 27. Residents can also license their pets with the township at these clinics. All residents must license their cats or dogs for 2024 before Jan. 31. Beginning Jan. 1, licensing is also available in person at the Evesham Township Clerk’s Office, located at 984 Tuckerton Rd. – Room 201, during normal business hours. Those interested bring proof of rabies vaccination with an expiration date after November 1, 2024 and proof of spaying/neutering information.

There is a $14 license fee per pet if proof is provided that the pet is spayed or neutered. There is a $17 license fee per pet if the pet is not spayed or neutered. Accepted forms of payment are cash or check.

Monday, Jan. 29

Book Discussion: Seniors. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to discuss Isabel Allende’s “A Long Petal of the Sea” novel. Registration is not required and new members are welcome.

Gentle Chair Yoga: Seniors. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join this gentle chair yoga class led by a certified instructor. Chair yoga is a wonderful way to move the body and increase flexibility while using a chair for support. Ideal for thosewho are stiff, or have limited mobility or minor injuries. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
