Deptford firefighters clear debris from Good Intent Road between Route 41 and County House Road, where four large trees came down and took multiple poles and wires with them during a rainstorm on Jan. 9. The storm also resulted in more than 50 calls for emergency service to the township’s Emergency Operations Center between 7 p.m. and 2 a.m. The area remained closed until the following day so PSE&G crews could reset poles and wires. No injuries were reported.
