The initiative entails the establishment of police substations at Virtua Voorhees and Virtua Marlton.

Law enforcement officers from VTPD recently attended a special event hosted at Virtua Voorhees to unveil the collaborative effort. The partnership aims to facilitate a seamless connection between police services and hospital staff, ensuring enhanced safety for both patients and employees.

The strategic placement of police substations is expected to significantly reduce issues with response times and strengthen the overall security infrastructure at these medical facilities, officials said.

With the collaboration, officials from Voorhees and Evesham townships expressed their anticipation for a positive impact of heightened safety measures and rapid response capabilities for the entire community.
