The Haddonfield Garden Club will host a program on how to harvest seeds on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 204 Wayne Ave., Haddonfield.
Refreshments and socializing will begin at noon and the speaker, Teresa Mirachi, will begin at 12:30 p.m. followed by the club’s usual meeting. Mirachi is a Haddonfield resident who loves to grow her own food and has had a vegetable and herb garden for more than 16 years.
Based on experiential learning from generations of family gardeners, Mirachi will share what works and what doesn’t in growing seeds. Seeds and winter seedling will be for sale.
Admisson is free, but participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for the church pantry.
