A message from Washington Township Interim Mayor Anthony DellaPia

Dear Residents and Business Owners of Washington Township,

I hope this message finds you well during this holiday season. It is with great honor, responsibility, and commitment to our community that I assume the role of interim mayor following the resignation of Joann Gattinelli. I want to assure you that my focus is on maintaining the continuity of service and collaboration with our dedicated municipal administration and council, benefiting our residents and businesses. During this transitional period, I welcome any questions or concerns you may have. Please feel free to reach out to me via email at adellapia@twp.washington.nj.us.

Additionally, I extend an invitation to join me at the upcoming council meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. in the council chambers. As we come together during this holiday season, let us reflect on our community’s strengths and the importance of unity. With a population of almost 50,000 residents, as a community, we should not only be thankful for the food before us, the friends, family, and neighbors beside us, but most importantly, the friendship between us. I want to emphasize that my office is here to support you. If you or anyone you know requires assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. Together, we will navigate challenges and produce results.

I also would like to send out a heartfelt “Thank you” to the Washington Township police and fire departments, for their dedication to keeping us safe. It is an incredible honor to serve you. I look forward to working collaboratively to ensure the continued well-being and prosperity of our community. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year.

 Sincerely,

 Anthony DellaPia

 Interim Mayor Washington Township
