Arriving units attempted to pursue the vehicle however, it was quickly terminated for safety concerns.

The officer, who was struck, was transported to Cooper Hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.

The woman faces charges of eluding, two counts of endangering the welfare, aggravated assault (all second degree) and aggravated assault on law enforcement (third degree).
