Dollar General and Raising Cane’s joining Burlington County Sheriff’s Office holiday toy drive

The Burlington County Sheriff’s Office is getting some additional help with its 28th annual Holiday Toy Drive.

Dollar General stores and Raising Cane’s restaurants have agreed to partner with the sheriff’s initiative.

Dollar General will host donation bins at six stores in Burlington County. The bins will be at the following store locations:

  • Mount Holly, 516 High Street;
  • Pemberton, 11 Fort Dix Road;
  • Vincentown, 1823 Route 206;
  • Willingboro, 498 Beverly-Rancocas Road;
  • Wrightstown, 437 East Main Street
  • North Hanover, 189 Jacobstown New Egypt Road.

Those Dollar General stores join the more than 44 other locations around the county where toy drive donation bins are located. A complete list is available on the Sheriff’s Office webpage. Collections occur regularly at all locations through Friday, Dec. 15.

Raising Cane’s will also offer a special promotion on Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Anyone who brings a new, unwrapped toy to the Burlington County Administration Building will receive a free Raising Cane’s Chicken Finger Combo meal. Donors should bring toys to the employee parking lot at 49 Rancocas Road, Mount Holly.

Donated toys and gifts will be distributed to local families who need some holiday assistance. Anyone with suggestions about families who could use some help can contact the sheriff’s office.

An application form is also available on the sheriff’s office webpage at https://www.co.burlington.nj.us/2042/Holiday-Toy-Drive.
