Help us brighten a local senior’s holiday season by donating a heartfelt gift. Many seniors combat loneliness during the holiday season. Shaun’s Story is collecting and wrapping items for our senior community again this year to be given out at our annual Seniors Holiday Luncheon. Nothing warms your heart more than giving to others. Please consider donating. Collection boxes will be at the Pfeiffer Center and in the lobby of Town Hall.
Items collected include: socks, gloves, hats, scarves, blankets, non-slip slippers/hardbottom, personal care/grooming items, large print crossword/word search, puzzles, playing cards. for more information call (856) 728-9841.
AARP Tax Aide volunteers needed for the next tax season. The service provided is offered free of charge all over the United States by the AARP Foundation. If focuses on taxpayers 50 and older and those of low to moderate income. Volunteers are needed in Deptford, Glassboro, Mullica Hill, Washington Township, West Deptford and Williamstown. Do you miss singing Holiday Carols? Looking for a group to sing with? Shades of Harmony Chorus invites women of all ages and abilities to sing with us this holiday season. Join us for rehearsals, sing with us at our annual show in November, and carol with us throughout the season. No prior choral experience required. Add some harmony to your holidays and make some new friends along the way. Rehearsals are held Tuesday nights from 7-8:30pm at Whitehall School, 161 Whitehall Road, Williamstown.
