Saturday, Oct. 21

Fall Festival and Halloween parade will be held on Oct. 21. The fall festival will he beld from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Owens Park, 700 N. Tuckahoe Road. There will be pumpkin decorating, hayrides, slide, pony rides, games, prizes, food vendors and bounce houses. Later that evening at 7 p.m. there will be a Halloween parade at 7 p.m. on Main Street. The rain date is Oct. 22. The parade route is between CVS and Church Street.

Monroe Township Council meeting at 7 p.m., 125 Virginia Ave.

Wednesday, Oct. 25

Thursday, Oct. 26

Seniors Halloween Costume party from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Pfeiffer Community Center, 301 Blue Bell Road. Presented by the Monroe Township Community Affairs. Call (856) 728-9841 to register.

The Red Cross is working around-the-clock to ensure patients have access to lifesaving transfusions and must collect 10,000 additional blood and platelet donations – over and above expectations – each week over the next month to sufficiently meet hospital needs. Donors of all blood types are urged to book a time to give now, especially those with type O blood or those giving platelets.

14th annual Wreaths of Remembrance from 10 a.m. to noon, 240 N. Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown.

AARP Tax Aide volunteers needed for the next tax season. The service provided is offered free of charge all over the United States by the AARP Foundation. If focuses on taxpayers 50 and older and those of low to moderate income. Volunteers are needed in Deptford, Glassboro, Mullica Hill, Washington Township, West Deptford and Williamstown.
