Thursday, Oct. 12

Start with Art: Ages 3 to 6 years. 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join in for a variety of art stations for kids to get creative. Dress for the mess. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Earth Defenders: Ages 7 to 12 years. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Evesham Library. With a team, participants will be designing an Earth-friendly sneaker. The goal is to create a show that does the least amount of harm to the environment when it is created or thrown away. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Saturday, Oct. 14

Fallen Heroes Softball Tournament: All ages. 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Diamonds at Arrowhead Park (984 Tuckerton Road). Residents are invited to the eighth annual Fallen Heroes Softball Tournament. The Evesham Township Police, Evesham Fire-Rescue, and other teams comprised of local residents and businesses as they join together to celebrate the lives of local fallen heroes during this charity softball tournament. Admission to the tournament is free, and all fundraising proceeds collected during the day will go to the families of fallen hometown heroes.

Monday, Oct. 16

Stay and Play: Ages 3 to 6 years. 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Evesham Library. This is a drop-in, unstructured playtime for children and their caregivers to socialize and explore. No registration required.

Intro to Computers: Adult Seniors. 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Learn the basics of operating a computers, from key vocabulary to using a mouse and a keyboard, to helpful shortcuts. This class is perfect for complete beginners and those who may want to go over the basics. registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Cozy Crochet Club: Ages 12 to 18 years. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Bring a current project and get cozy with fellow crocheters. Participants are free to use the library’s yarn stash. Beginners are welcome and can learn from a library staff member. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Gentle Chair Yoga: Adult seniors. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Senior residents are invited to this gentle chair yoga class led by a certified yoga instructor. Chair yoga is a way to move your body and increase your flexibility using a chair for support. Helpful for those who are very stiff, have limited mobility or minor injuries. Participants should dress comfortably. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
