Making an ‘Impact’ in South Jersey

Impact100 South Jersey, a women’s collective giving organization, is holding membership information sessions throughout South Jersey until the end of the year. The sessions take about an hour and will be held at various locations and on Zoom. To get a complete schedule, visit https://impact100sj.org/attend-an-info-session.

“We are excited to begin our membership season,” according to Angela Venti, membership co-chair, “We add new locations and Zoom times every day, so we tell people to keep checking the Impact100 South Jersey website if you can’t make the sessions currently scheduled.”

The group will hold in-person meetings on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. at FINALLY in Cherry Hill; Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. at the Pinelands Preservation Alliance in Southampton; and once more at TEHEN Women’s Clothing in Cherry Hill. There will also be a Zoom meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at noon.

Impact100 South Jersey, launched in 2017, has awarded more than $1 million to South Jersey nonprofits. It is defined as a women’s collective giving circle in which individual members contribute $1,000 toward large, transformative grants for nonprofits in their communities.

Impact100 has also awarded three grants to nonprofits. A $100,000 core mission grant was awarded to the Heart of Camden and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cumberland and Salem counties and Habitat for Humanity of Camden County received a $55,500.
