Registration is open for the third annual Little Mr. and Ms. Monroe Pageant presented by Community Affairs. Monroe Township Council meeting at 7 p.m., 125 Virginia Ave.

Tuesday, Oct. 10

Monroe Township Fire Prevention Night from 7-9 p.m. at the Walmart SuperCenter, 1840 S. Black Horse Pike, Williamstown. The night is hosted by the Williamstown and Cecil Fire companies.

Thursday, Oct. 12

Monroe Township is hosting the Flags for Forgotten Soldiers at 10 a.m., Oct. 12 at 700 Corkery Lane. Volunteers are needed to place the 660 flags representing the number of veterans who die by their own hand every month. Saturday, Oct. 21

Fall Festival and Halloween parade will be held on Oct. 21. The fall festival will he beld from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Owens Park, 700 N. Tuckahoe Road. There will be pumpkin decorating, hayrides, slide, pony rides, games, prizes, food vendors and bounce houses. Later that evening at 7 p.m. there will be a Halloween parade at 7 p.m. on Main Street. The rain date is Oct. 22. The parade route is between CVS and Church Street.

14th annual Wreaths of Remembrance from 10 a.m. to noon, 240 N. Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown.

AARP Tax Aide volunteers needed for the next tax season. The service provided is offered free of charge all over the United States by the AARP Foundation. If focuses on taxpayers 50 and older and those of low to moderate income. Volunteers are needed in Deptford, Glassboro, Mullica Hill, Washington Township, West Deptford and Williamstown.
