Mindful Meditation: 18 years and up. 10 to 11 a.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Residents are invited to join an experienced meditation instructor to relax the mind and body. This program will be conducted virtually on Zoom. Registration is required at www.mtlaurel.lib.nj.us. Participants will receive a link one day prior the program.
Preschool Storytime: Ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Join in for stories, songs, and rhymes as this event explores a new theme every week. This storytime helps children build early literacy skills. No registration required. Participants are also invited to stay after the event for gardening, playtime, and a craft.
Knit & Crochet Afternoon Meetup: Ages 18 and up only. 1 to 3 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. A knitting and crochet group invites adults to either bring a project, or get help if you’re just starting out. Participants will meet at the tables in the Collaboration Zone next to the cafe area. No registration required.
Tai Chi for Health: Adults only. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Certified instructor Bob Stanton teaches tai chi, a gentle exercise that can improve muscle tone, flexibility, and coordination. It can be done seated or standing. Registration required at www.mtlaurel.lib.nj.us. Participants will receive a Zoom link the day before the event.

Tots Art Time: Ages 18 months to 3 years and up. 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. at the Mount Library. An art class for toddlers to enjoy with their parents and caregivers. Registration is required at www.mtlaurel.lib.nj.us.

Anime Matinèe – Kiki’s Delivery Service: All ages. 1 to 3 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. All residents are invited to join this matinèe screening of “Kiko’s Delivery Service” by legendary director Hayao Miyazaki.
It is a coming-of-age story about a resourceful young witch named Kiki. It is a tradition for all young witches, including Kiki, to leave their families and fly off into the world for one year to hone their skills. Kiki moves to a seaside village and uses her broom to start a courier delivery service, making her a local sensation. It is a rendered tale of a young girl finding her way in the world. Popcorn and snacks will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to dress up like their favorite anime or manga character and chat afterwards if they would like to. The film is rated “G” and it’s runtime is 1 hr. and 42min.

Toddler Storytime: ages 18 months to 3 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Mount Laurel Library – Outdoor Pavillion. Join in for songs, stories, and rhymes as a new theme is explored each week. No registration required.
Tuesday Mahjong: For adults. 1 to 4 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library – Craft Room. Mahjong is a popular tile-based game of strategy, skill, and luck. Some experience is recommended. Participants may bring their own National Mahjong League 2022 card and a Mahjong set. No registration required.
