Marlton Senior Citizen Club: Adult Seniors 55 and up. 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Gibson House Community Center (535 E. Main St.). All senior citizens ages 55 and older are welcome to attend these meetings. The meetings take place every first and third Thursday of the month. Participants can enjoy coffee, donuts and regularly scheduled games and other entertainment. No registration required.
Friday, Oct. 6
Stay and Play: Ages 3 to 6 years. 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Evesham Library. This is a drop-in, unstructured playtime for children and their caregivers to socialize and explore. No registration required.
Saturday, Oct. 7
Fallen Heroes Softball Tournament: All ages. 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Diamonds at Arrowhead Park (984 Tuckerton Road). Residents are invited to the eighth annual Fallen Heroes Softball Tournament. The Evesham Township Police, Evesham Fire-Rescue, and other teams comprised of local residents and businesses as they join together to celebrate the lives of local fallen heroes during this charity softball tournament. Admission to the tournament is free, and all fundraising proceeds collected during the day will go to the families of fallen hometown heroes.
