Celebrate autumn at a lunch and games event hosted by the Social Services Committee of The Haddon Fortnightly on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 11:30 a.m. The event will be held at the historic Haddon Fortnightly clubhouse in Haddonfield on Kings Highway at the corner of Grove Street.
Activities will include play bridge, Mah-jongg or games of their choice. All are welcome. The cost is $20, and reservations are required. Proceeds will benefit local charities and each lunch guest is invited to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the South Jersey Food Bank.
The Haddon Fortnightly will also host sports comedian Joe Conklin on Friday, Oct. 20, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at its headquarters, 301 Kings Highway East.
