Chewing on topics at Mabel Kay lunch series

The series takes place on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the center on select Wednesdays.

Mabel Kay Senior Center has announced the fall lineup for its free “Something to Chew On” lunch and speaker program for residents.

A donation of $3 for non-residents is suggested to cover lunch and registration is required so attendees can make a menu choice. The series takes place on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the center on the following dates:

Wednesday, Sept. 27 – Two officers and everyone’s favorite K-9, Blue, from the Haddonfield police department

Wednesday, Oct. 11 – Jacquie Miller and Kassinda Fuller, from United Methodist Communities, on how to choose a retirement community

Wednesday, Oct. 25 – Mary Beth Lewis of the Alzheimer’s Association explains the top 10 warning signs of the disease

Wednesday, Nov. 8 – Closed for Election Day
