Mantua Mayor’s Message for week of Sept. 3

Dear Community Friends,

We trust that most had a relaxing Labor Day weekend. We also realize that many were gearing-up for the beginning of the new school year, and some have already started with the hustle and bustle of kids sports and activities.

Mantua Township schools along with Clearview Middle School and High School open for students this Thursday, Sept. 7.  From a township’s perspective, we prioritize student and staff safety. I’ve mentioned previously that our school district will have police officers housed on-site at each school. Our police department’s patrol division will be frequenting our schools as part of their daily patrols. Please make sure you are doing your part by obeying traffic laws especially around the schools, and please be cognizant of school buses navigating around developments. If you see anything suspicious in or around the schools, please call 911.

We wish all our Mantua and Clearview students a fantastic school year filled with growth, learning and opportunities for each to shine.
