Medford police investigate early morning burglary

The Medford Township Police Department is reminding residents to lock their vehicle doors after a burglary report at a Rancocas Lane residence Aug. 26.

Police were dispatched to the residence at approximately 7:04 a.m. The initial investigation revealed that at least three subjects arrived at the residence in a blue Audi (possibly a Q5). The subjects entered two vehicles that were parked in the driveway and utilized the garage door opener to access the garage and ultimately the occupied residence, according to police.

The subjects are believed to be involved in similar incidents within Medford Township as well as Medford Lakes and Lumberton during the early morning hours the same day.

Anyone with additional information is urged to contact the Medford Township Police Department at (609) 654-7511.
